Queer Thinking - Q+A 'The Pride'

  • Eternity Playhouse 39 Burton Street Darlinghurst, NSW, 2010 Australia

Presented by Darlinghurst Theatre Company

A remarkable reflection on gay identity and sexual liberation, Alexi Campbell’s The Pride follows two stories shifting from 1958 to the present and back again. In the first, Oliver and Phillip fall for each other but are forced to be strangers to both desire and to themselves. In the other, the rainbow-stickered present, anonymous sex and empty style collide with the human heart.

The performance on Sunday 14 February at 5pm will be followed by a Q&A with director Shane Bosher and cast members Geraldine Hakewill, Kyle Kazmarzik, Simon London and Matt Minto.

The Q+A will immediately follow the performance
