Creating an inclusive society based on the principles of equality and human dignity requires eliminating all forms of homophobia in every community and acceptance of diverse LGBTIQ identities. In this discussion Alice Aslan and Lisa Worthington talk with other Muslim activists about the importance of challenging homophobia in Muslim communities, and promoting queer Muslim rights. 

Alice Aslan is a Turkish-Australian anthropologist, writer and activist based in Sydney. She is the founder of Muslims Against Homophobia.

Lisa Worthington is a sociologist, academic and activist based in Sydney.
