A spectacular day walk in the Blue Mountains.
We join the 8.18am Blue Mountains line train (Lithgow service) from the Country Platforms at Sydney's Central Railway Station to Wentworth Falls station arriving at 10.07am. You will need to buy a return ticket to Wentworth Falls. (Those driving can meet us at Wentworth Falls station)
From Wentworth Falls we follow Darwin's track alongside Jamison Creek to the top of Wentworth Falls. Via a giant staircase we decend to our sunny lunch spot overlooking the grandeur of the Jamison and Kedumba valleys. The cliff side walk passes under some waterfalls (raincoats maybe needed if recent wet weather) leading to the Valley of Waters. An optional swim bekons in a mountain pool. We conclude our walk passinghistoric homes/gardens of the area.
