Working with LGBTIQ Clients in Legal Proceedings

This free Mardi Gras event presented by the Inner City Legal Centre and Young Lawyers (NSW) will assist lawyers and other service providers facilitating respectful and empowering representation to LGBTIQ clients in legal matters. 

His Honour Michael Kirby AC, CMG will open the event. The Inner City Legal Centre will present on “Working respectfully with LGBTIQ clients”.  Skylar Mills, a Trans teen, and his mother Nancy will share their journey.  Dr Olivia Rundle will speak on challenges for couples and families engaged with legal systems.

The session will run 5-7:30pm 1 March, 2017 at the Sydney University Law School.  Whilst free, donations to the Inner City Legal Centre are welcome on the night.
