Mardi Gras launches Members and Community Advisory Group
The SGLMG Board held a Community Information Session on 17th December to provide information about the changes and to hear from members of the community. The Board explained that the organisation name was changed to ‘Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras’ (from New Mardi Gras) and the name of the Festival changed to ‘Sydney Mardi Gras’. The vision, research, method and process that lead to the changes were also explained.
