As a courtesy to those traveling to Sydney Mardi Gras from outside of the Sydney metropolitan region, Aussie Boys in Darlinghurst will hold 20 tickets that will go on sale at 10:00am Saturday 23 February. A proof of non-Sydney residency as well as a travel ticket (e.g. airline ticket) will be required to purchase these tickets.

As the late afternoon sun makes its way behind the Opera House and the Bridge, thousands of gorgeous partygoers from around the world make their way through the Botanic Gardens to the water’s edge for one of the most spectacular dance parties on the international scene – Harbour Party ’13.

Shady lawns, cocktails and and bars galore (yes, twice that of last year), sensational sounds and live performances, set against an iconic picture postcard backdrop, Harbour Party is Sydney summer heaven on a stick.

Think topless, toned and tanned; sunnies, swimwear and sunfactor; with a feel that’s cool, laid-back yet pumped. It’s kind of like everyone has been hanging by the pool or on the beach then casually remembered they have some place awesome to be. Either that or they’ve spent hours in front of the mirror perfecting that untouched, spontaneous, casual look.

But when the sun goes down, things start to get really hot as the topline DJs turn it up and big acts hit the stage. The dance floor fills and spills onto the lawns, the energy and excitement.

A portion of proceeds from Harbour Party will be donated to the Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby (GLRL). 

A message from the GLRL:

The GLRL turns 25 this year. and we have many victories to celebrate.  However there is still much to fight for – full marriage rights, anti-discrimination protection, the end of the “gay panic” defence, and more. We can only continue our work with the help of Sydney Mardi Gras and the community, and we are extremely grateful for the support you provide, so that we can continue to push for our rights.
