In conversation with Justice Michael Kirby and Uncle Jack Charles, this event will explore the changing portrayal and treatment of the LGBTIQ community by both law and theatre and will celebrate the contributions made to both fields by the LGBTIQ community.  By looking back at how law and theatre have each engaged with the LGBTIQ community, this event will frankly ask where the LGBTIQ community presently stands with respect to these institutions and consider what the future holds.

A collaboration between Belvoir, NSW Young Lawyers and the Inner-City Community Legal Centre, this event will entertain, inform and challenge.  All proceeds from the event will go to the Inner-City Community Legal Centre to support programs of legal assistance to the LGBTIQ community.
