Mardigrasland was a sellout in 2012, and with 2013 being the 35th anniversary of Sydney Mardi Gras, this is going to be the mother of all Sydney Mardi Gras parties.
Step inside the gates of Mardigrasland into a wild and sexy night of eclectic experiences. A queer-fantasy world where over 17,000 up-for-it partygoers dance and roam free, the best DJs from here and overseas take you somewhere else, and big-name artists bring the house down.
Chicane, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, The Freemasons, George Michael, Cyndi Lauper, Olivia Newton-John, Adam Lambert and Kelly Rowland are just some of the special guests who have thrilled and shocked in the past. At the 2012 party, Kylie Minogue raised the roof with a spectacular mini-concert of her greatest hits, complete with elaborate costumes and a troupe of dancers. So who’ performing in 2013? That’s still a secret, but you will LOVE!
Raging over seven uniquely themed spaces, it’s a hot and sweaty, super sensational night of surprises in all shapes and sizes, where anything can happen and just everything goes. Every Party is something special, packed full of adventures and incredible memories, but your first will blow you away. Get set for one of the greatest nights of your life.
Mardigrasland venues
Mardigrasland returns in 2013 with seven sensational party spaces.
Royal Hall of Industries
Mega stage shows, superstar divas, Kings and Queens of Drag, killer international and local DJs, together with an awe-inspiring light display and a monster, pumping sound production, make this the biggest hair-raising, hands-in-the-air party experience in Southern Hemisphere.
Hordern Pavillion
With a slightly darker, more progressive feel, a light, laser, video and sound design for which Mardi Gras is world famous, and featuring The Presets full touring stage show, the the Hordern is a unique experience not to be missed.
The Dome
The Dome is like a queer haven, an underground party with some of our favourite DJs intermixed with artists playing festivals like Folsom St in San Francisco. You might need to watch yourself in this moody, sexy space.
Hi-Fi Sydney
Journey with us and celebrate 35 years of party music from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and noughties in a multi-leveled, total club venue.
The Gaydar Lounge at the Pub
A great lounge space with a relaxed feel. Something different from the more pumped scenes of the RHI and Hordern. A place to sit, catch your breath and get close with friends (old or brand new) over a drink while great DJs maintain just the right mood.
Sake Bar
Showcasing some of Sydney’s freshest DJS and performers. the marquee was a huge hit in 2012. And in 2013 it’s going bigger and better and even more fantastic.
The Forecourt
