Pitt St Uniting Church

Bringing together two fabulous LGBTQI choirs, Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir and Wellington Glamaphones, ‘Close Harmony’ is a celebration of the power of voice to promote acceptance, inclusion, harmony and community between people and nations.

Featuring songs from 40 years of Mardi Gras, and a host of favourites from across the Tasman, you’ll be singing along and dancing in the aisles. You’ll be uplifted, moved, and taken on a musical adventure through harmony.

Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir has been promoting harmony through song since 1991. We are an inclusive non-auditioned choir open to all and have performed across Sydney, Australia and around the world.

The Glamaphones are Wellington’s 60 strong LGBTQI community choir. Also non-auditioned, they place great emphasis on participation, inclusiveness and building community.
