Parade - Saturday 4th March 2017

Born from a single night of political protest in 1978, the true spirit of Mardi Gras continues to inspire and thrill, bringing the city to a standstill with hundreds of thousands lining the streets in support of equality, pride and a dazzling spectacle of sparkles and self-expression.

Our Iconic party continues to be the hottest ticket in town following the Parade. A sell-out in 2016, it promises to be just as fabulous, just as sexy, and still the biggest celebration for all of our communities over the Mardi Gras season.

Fair Day - Sunday 18th February 2017

One of the community's most-loved events, Fair Day attracts more than 70,000 people to Victoria Park in Sydney for a massive family-friendly picnic loaded with food stalls, community organisations and entertainment all day long!

The Harbour - 4 nights in February 2017

Set over four magnificent late summer nights on Sydney’s incredibly beautiful harbour foreshore, The Harbour is a wonderful and entertaining series of special Mardi Gras events including concerts, films and more. Laneway - Sunday 5th March 2017

A cherished tradition, The Laneway has evolved from a couple of milk crates and a portable stereo on Hill St, to a full blown street party. Always a sell-out, this is a fitting finale to the biggest weekend of the year.

Queer Thinking - Feb/Mar 2017

Queer Thinking is a program of talks, issues and provocations that runs across the entire Festival. Spanning a diverse range of topics and perspectives, Queer Thinking features singular and controversial thought leaders, activists and artists, challenging the status quo and telling their stories.
