It's one of our communities favourite events in the Mardi Gras Festival and this year promises to be another sensational day in Victoria Park, Camperdown from 10am to 8pm.

There's a record number of stalls from community groups, local businesses and artisans, LGBTQI organisations, Mardi Gras partners, and a range of delicious food and drink vendors across the park.

The ANZ Main Stage is your home of entertainment across the day with highlights of the NSW Police Band, mini concerts from Deni Hines, X-Factor contestant Natalie Conway, Top-40 hitmaker Bielfield and a whole lot more. The stage will be fabulously hosted across the day by Richard Reid with Hannah Conda, Matthew Mitcham & Charisma Belle, Justin Hill from 2day FM, Felicity Frockaccino, Dorreen Manganini, and more.

As the sun  goes down there will be 2 hours of fantastic summer tunes to get you dancing provided by Mardi Gras Party star DJs Tanner Derby (6pm) and Mark Alsop MA15+ (7pm to close).

For the foodies, once again, there will be a fantastic range of food available throughout the day. Of course, the Fair Day staples of Gozleme, BBQ and German Sausages will be present, joined by some wonderful new offerings -  French Raclette, Hungarian Langos and Pulled Pork rolls. Throughout the park, coffee, smoothies and juices will be sold from a range of stalls, together with some great cakes, desserts and lollies. We are covered for a beautiful hot day too, with popsicles, ice cream and liquid nitrogen gelato!

Fair Day 2016 is promising to be a record year for stalls with over 250 community organisations and business partners attending, showcasing a wide range of services and products.  Some of the highlights include:

  • The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Business Association 'Business Avenue'
  • A renewed and expanded Doggywood
  • Family friendly activities with Rainbow Families and the Magic Yellow Toy Library Bus and the Taronga Zoo exhibition
