Do you have strong financial and strategic skills and are you looking for a way to make a visible and sustained contribution to our communities? We are looking for volunteers to join our FINANCE and BUDGET WORKING GROUP to assist in driving dynamic change through the organisation.
The Finance and Budget working group assists the Treasurer and Board in managing the financial goals of the organisation and assisting in strategic and scenario planning.
SGLMG operates on a 3 year rolling financial forecast aligned to the organisations strategic plans.
The time commitment for the working group is 2 days per month and a 2-hour monthly meeting
Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications or experience in any of the following:
- Institute of Chartered Accountants
- Certified Practising Accountants
- Event Management
- Working Capital Management
- Financial and Management accounting
- Financial modelling
- Budgeting and Budget performance
- Audit planning and financial reporting
