Expressions of Interest - Constitution Working Group

Do you have a strong understanding of corporate governance and are you looking for a way to make a visible and sustained contribution to our communities?  We are looking for volunteers to join our CONSTITUTION WORKING GROUP to assist in driving dynamic change through the organisation.

The Constitution Working Group will assist the Board in reforming our Constitutions to bring them into line with current practice and Corporations Act requirements as well as identifying opportunities to improve the overall effectiveness of corporate governance arrangements. 

The Working Group will be recommending changes for endorsement by the Board of Directors and approval by the members at general meetings.

Time Commitment:

The time commitment for the working group is negotiable up to 16 hours per month and a 2-hour monthly meeting.

Experience/Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should have the following qualifications or experience in any of the following:

  • Corporate governance
  • Corporations law
  • Policy design and development
  • Drafting of legal instruments
  • Project and/or change management
