Australia's first openly gay and lesbian organisation. Campaign Against Moral Persecution (CAMP Inc) was formed in late 1970. It held the first demonstration outside the NSW Liberal Party headquarters in October 1971. Sydney Gay Liberation formed as a separate radical group in early 1972. Other demonstrations followed.
