The campest band in the world, The Blow Waves, fuse punk, disco with a touch of ‘cock rock’. Their unique sound has been described as punchy, rocky disco-camp and full of raw attitude. Fronted by Matt Doll (of The Mavis’ fame), the band toured internationally in 2009, playing at the World Outgames in Copenhagen, the Manchester Pride Festival and a whole bunch of side shows in London and Berlin. Immersed in dirty synths, melodic harmonies, guitar driven riffs and penetrating hooks, The Blow Waves have a reputation for outrageous stage performances. A must see during the Festival!
