For the first time, ArciLesbica Australia proudly presents a night of Italian Australian history with a brilliant bent stamp as part of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras.

Neil Hansen, one of the original Le Sorelle Bandiera (The Flag Sisters) and ‘the redhead with the best legs in Europe’ shares with us his life story from a suburban Perth man to become one of Italy’s most famous and campest acts of the late 1970s.

Rocco D’Amore, Drag King per eccelso will reveal his experience from growing up in Sydney to then transform the Drag king scene, ultimately becoming, in 2010, the1970’s Gay Clone on the cover of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Official Festival Guide.

A Q&A ‘Italian style’ will follow. This event will take place in Sydney’s Italian epicentre, Leichardt and will include light refreshments.

A free event with RSVPs required by 24 February required for catering purposes - arciles_au@hotmail.com / 0408 137 037.

All welcome.
