Not so much a cabaret show as a cry for help, Britney Spears: The Cabaret is a satirical look at the perils of fame, with Britney's hits transformed into cabaret songs, and seamlessly intertwined into the fabric of her life story.
Christie Whelan recently wowed critics and audiences in the lead role of Xanadu: The Musical. Previous starring roles include Company, The Drowsy Chaperone, and The Importance Of Being Earnest. Dean Bryant and Mathew Frank have worked extensively for the Melbourne Theatre Company - most recently as director and musical director of Next To Normal.
Britney Spears: The Cabaret was a sell-out smash hit at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, and has played two critically-acclaimed seasons in Melbourne.
