Sydney’s drag kings and queens emerge from the nightclubs to compete in the sun and sand of world famous Bondi Beach at the hilarious Drag Races!

Fourteen years before RuPaul told her queens to “sashay away”, Sydney icon Vanessa Wagner created the Bondi Drag Races where kings and queens battle it out for the ultimate crown.

This year’s competition is set to be fiercer and funnier than ever, with a bigger arena and activities ranging from the Dainty Dune Dash to Handbag Discus. Get into a frock or paint on a moustache and join us for a camp afternoon in the sun.





Registrations to compete are now open! Click here for an entry form, otherwise watch on the day for free.

Entry forms are due by 29 February.


The Drag Races were formerly devised and produced by the original Sydney Fringe Festival and Vanessa Wagner (1995-2001)
