Six women take on the greatest male musicians of our time and reinvent them as sassy cabaret. This is AC/DC, Silverchair, the Beatles, Nine Inch Nails, Justin Timberlake and the Violent Femmes mixed up in soaring female vocals.

A playful romp through pop culture’s expectations about gender and sexuality, Lady Sings it Better combines a skilful 3-piece band and complex harmony with tongue-in-cheek silliness and the odd bit of ridiculous choreography.

After entertaining sold-out crowds in Sydney, success at the Adelaide Fringe 2011 led to a flurry of invitations from Edinburgh Fringe venues, so the troupe will commence their first international tour in 2012.
