The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade is one of the world’s largest and best-loved LGBTQI celebrations, a chance for all of the colours of the kaleidoscope to come together, to commemorate, celebrate, and communicate the universal message of diversity, equality, and infinite love.
Join hundreds of thousands of spectators lining the route, as 10,000 people parade with pride along Oxford and Flinders Streets in an explosion of creative and political expression, a captivating extravaganza of lavish floats, satirical statements, spectacular costumes and showstopping moments.

We’re very proud to introduce you to the newest member of the Mardi Gras family – The Flinders Seats. You told us you wanted a more affordable viewing experience closer to the action, and we listened. Located right on the Parade route on Flinders St, you’ll have grandstand-style seating with easy access to bars, great food and bathrooms.
Offering the best view of every sequin, every performer and every float, The Flinders Seats also offers the best in entertainment. Delta Goodrem will be bringing that unbeatable fire, as seen at last years Party to the Oral B float, delivering a one of a kind performance ONLY in front of the Flinders Seats. Delta told the Daily Telegraph she can’t wait and neither can we!
You’ll have the best view of all the glamour and spectacle of the Parade, including exclusive views of the Baz Luhrmann directed extravaganza finale performance! (read all about it in the Sydney Morning Herald here)
PLUS legendary performer Trevor Ashley and Australia’s first lady of cabaret Rhonda Burchmore will be the VIP hosts of this premium Parade viewing area. As Mardi Gras royalty, hosts Burchmore and Ashley will offer the complete VIP experience, mingling with punters, and creating an exciting atmosphere, from the comfort of VIP grandstand seating for Australia’s biggest street party.
Giving you the ability to enjoy the parade on your own terms, the seats give the entire Mardi Gras experience. Video screens capture every detail that may be missed, as well as the tongue in cheek commentary which the parade is known for.
With complete access to amazing bars, food and bathrooms so you can view everything in premium comfort, The Flinders Seats really are the best seats in the house.
With tickets from $143, Mardi Gras has made it easy for you to avoid the crowds and the pushing, the most affordable option to fully experience the parade. The Grandstand has been moved to a more centralized and accessible location on Flinders Street, giving a completely unobstructed view of the magic, and putting you in prime position for the finale of the parade.
The Flinders Seats are accessible to all, with child priced tickets and family bundles available. Also included in the ticket price is transportation to the site from Central Station.

THE DIAMOND CLUB
Presented in partnership with ANZ, this is the place to be if you want to be right in the middle of the action!
Diamond Club is your very own outdoor club right at the buzzing heart of Taylor Square. With raised viewing platforms, cocktail bars, DJs, and a glittering array of fabulous people, you’ll be able to soak in the excitement of the Parade in true Mardi Gras style. You’ll have the best view of all the glamour and spectacle of the Parade, including exclusive views of the Baz Luhrmann directed extravaganza finale performance! The Parade runs on the generosity and passion of two thousand volunteers. There are plenty of volunteer roles available, and we’ll even reward you for your talent and time. Be one of the stars that make it all happen!
