Sleaze Ball is the main annual fundraising event for the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade and Festival alongside the Mardi Gras Party.
Taking place this year in the Entertainment Quarter, Sleaze 2010: “Decadence” will be a celebration of debauchery and excess set across several stunning venues.
The theme has been designed to encourage partygoers to go all out in costuming; one of the unique and thrilling elements of Sleaze Ball. Attendees are invited to explore what “Decadence” means to them, whether it’s indulging in opulent attire or wearing nothing but a diamond ring. Expect to see modern-day billionaires, 1920’s German cabaret stars, revelers dressed to the nines in fetish wear and, of course, plenty of Queens.
Tickets go on sale Monday 2nd August, with prices lowered to allow more of the community to attend this trademark event. Under 25s tickets are now $59, along with members (first release) who can once again purchase two tickets each. General admission will go on sale for a limited first release at $75.
Sleaze Ball 2009 - Game On!
Despite a huge rain storm this year's sporty
Game On! turned out to be one of the most fun and memorable Sleaze Balls in years.
Thanks to those of you who came to the party. We were delighted to see so many of you dressed to the nines. The colour and creativity provided by the partygoers is a big part of Sleaze Ball's appeal. From a Scottish man tossing a caber, to polo ponies to big teams of gridiron players, this was a party that saw people dress up more than ever before.
A huge thanks to the DJs and performers who entertained the crowd throughout the night, the volunteers who gave their time to make the party function so well, our business partners and sponsors, the exotic combatants and performers who took part in the Ring and to those who took party in Project Sleazeway.
Now, get a little flavour of the action from our friends at QueerTV.
