Expressions of Interest – Committees

About us

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) is a not-for-profit arts organisation with a vision to be a global leader in the promotion of diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice through culture, creativity and partnerships.

Since the first march for freedom in 1978, we have grown into a leading international cultural arts festival with the Parade alone including over 12,500 participants and reaches a local, online and broadcast audience of over 13 million people. We have, and continue to, evolve to include a strong focus on celebration while maintaining a commitment to social justice for LGBTQIA+ communities.

The Audit and Risk Committee (the Committee) is a sub-committee of the Board of Directors of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG). The objectives of the Committee are to assist the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities relating to financial and management accounting, financial reporting, and risk management.
