After three years serving on the Board of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) and Mardi Gras Arts (MGA), Kat Dopper has decided to step down. The Board and staff of Mardi Gras thank Kat for her service to the organisation.

SGLMG now has a vacancy for a Director position, and pursuant to Division III of the Constitution, invites Expressions of Interest from our members. 

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is a not-for-profit arts organisation whose vision is to be a global leader in the promotion of diversity, inclusion, equity and social justice through culture, creativity and partnerships.

Expressions of Interest should include a CV and a cover letter outlining professional experience and any experience within leadership roles. The Board is particularly interested in meeting with applicants who have experience in gender and sexuality diverse community organisations and registered charities with DGR status.

We are particularly seeking expressions of interest from people with skills in finance, accounting, WHS and risk. 

The Board strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, trans and gender diverse individuals, intersex individuals and people with disability.

Applicants should familiarise themselves with the Constitutions of MGA and SGLMG as well as the current Strategic Plan document.
