The Mardi Gras team is so excited to be planning a brilliant 2021 Mardi Gras Festival and Parade!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have made some changes to how Mardi Gras 2021 will look, and this also includes our Parade which is happening at the Sydney Cricket Ground. The health of our community is paramount, whilst ensuring we are still able to provide hope, inspiration and celebration to our amazing community. As a result, our Parade (and those “moments” within it) will be run in a different, but spectacular way.
The fantastic news is that we will be continuing our great tradition of including a range of volunteer community performers to be a part of the Mardi Gras Parade Float or perform as one of our RISE Dancers!
We’re looking for people who can perform with personality, enthusiasm and commitment. If you have big dreams of performing before a large crowd of your nearest and dearest, the Mardi Gras 2021 Parade is for YOU!
In order to keep everyone safe this season, instead of in-person auditions, we’ll be assessing all applications on the information you provide in this application, which will include a video submission.
