Booking.com

Booking.com is one of the world’s leading digital travel companies, with more than 28 million accommodation listings in over 160,000 destinations worldwide, plus booking opportunities for attractions, cars and flights. Booking.com is committed to making it easier for LGBTQIA+ travellers to experience the world 365 days a year.

Booking.com’s Travel Proud program focuses on improving the experiences our communities have across the entire travel journey, making it possible for LGTBQIA+ people to show up and experience the world as all of themselves. Recognising the important role properties play in providing a more inclusive experience, Booking.com began paving the way for everyone to Travel Proud with the launch of its free Proud Hospitality training programme in August 2021. More than 15,000 accommodation providers, including over 1,200 across Australia and New Zealand are now being recognised for their inclusive hospitality efforts with a Travel Proud badge on Booking.com.

Internally, Booking.com’s B.proud network of employees work with local communities to make an impact with many fundraising events over the years – including raising over $20,000 for LGBTQIA+ charities, Minus18 in Australia and Outline Aotearoa in New Zealand.

Booking.com continues to demonstrate its support of LGBTQIA+ communities globally and locally through numerous commitments to Pride celebrations around the world. This includes multi-year commitments as General Sponsor of Pride Amsterdam, sponsorship of Manchester Pride, Winter Pride in New Zealand and Sydney WorldPride, with additional plans for future sponsorship in key cities and years in the works.
