Red Bull

Red Bull Australia has been working with Mardi Gras since 2017, with its foundational support of the festival’s outstanding Ballroom culture event Sissy Ball. Red Bull is also a cornerstone partner/supporter of other LGBTQIA+ events including Heaps Gay and Poof Doof, along with venues like Universal, the Stonewall Hotel, Connections Nightclub in Perth and the Wickham Hotel in Brisbane.

Red Bull Australia has a Diversity & Inclusion Strategy and Action Plan, of which inclusion forms one of four key themes. Over the years, Red Bull has showcased voices from the LGBTQIA+ communities on its social platforms, developing and presenting content such as ‘If These Walls Could Talk’ podcast and short video series which celebrated the trailblazers, venues and parties of Sydney’s LBGTQI+ nightlife from the ’70s to today, giving wings to stories of queer celebration and community. Red Bull also supports talent through its Culture Program’s (Music & Dance) extensive artists and dancer networks in LGBTQIA+ communities around Australia.
