TikTok

As one of the leading global social media platforms, TikTok provides a place to express yourself and discover communities through engaging with creative, joyful and engaging content. TikTok celebrates and embraces diversity and self-expression. It is vital that LGBTQIA+ voices and stories are shared, seen and heard.

TikTok Australia’s internal Employee Resource Group, PrideTribe, supports LGBTQIA+ organisations including Wear it Purple and initiatives such as IDAHOBIT day and Transgender Day of Visibility. In 2022 TikTok partnered with ACON in joining the Pride in Diversity Program.

Globally, TikTok has donated over $750,000 to LGBTQIA+ organisations such as the Trevor Project. They have also partnered with non-profit organisations that support LGBTQIA+ causes, including GLAAD, It Gets Better Project, SAGE, Stonewall Foundation and True Colors United.

TikTok welcomes those who are pushing acceptance for all and helping to create a world where everyone has the right to be who they are and love who they love.
