Talent Enquiries

Thank you for expressing your interest to be part of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (SGLMG) Festival.

SGLMG is one of the oldest continuously operating LGBTQI+ organisations in Australia. SGLMG was built on the foundations laid by early community activists who fought for LGBTQI+ rights in a time of widespread, institutionalised oppression and discrimination. From these origins, SGLMG has evolved to include a strong focus on celebration while maintaining a commitment to social justice for LGBTQI+ communities.

To ensure diversity in DJs, Dancers, Performers and Live Music across our events SGLMG engages external Community and Industry Advisors to form the Talent Advisory Panel.

The opinions of local artists and promoters within the community matter greatly to SGLMG and the Panel is composed with a commitment to include a diversity of experiences and perspectives. The Panel will work in collaboration and be joined by the Creative Director and Producers to ensure that the artistic program is shaped by engagement, collaboration and conversation with the community.

Through this form, all correspondence is recorded and considered by the SGLMG team.

Please note due to the large volume of EOIs that you will be contacted should we have an offer available.

Make sure you have included relevant promotional materials in support of your EOI, including mixes, past performances, biographies and a headshot.

If you have any questions, please contact the talent team via email at talent@mardigrasarts.org.au.
