For artists, producers and promoters

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras has a long-standing history of working with and elevating community talent and are always excited to work with artists, producers, companies and promoters to create a compelling, bold and adventurous festival program that reflects the diversity of our LGBTQIA+ communities and encourages participation in LGBTQIA+ arts and cultural events.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras takes its responsibility very seriously to program a safe and inclusive Festival, that promotes wellbeing and champions diverse voices. Every year we strive to showcase artists who represent the diversity of our communities, and who uphold our values of inclusion and integrity.

We welcome submissions and suggestions for exciting new performers as well as much-loved community favourites, and we work closely with external and diverse talent advisory committees and panels to ensure a transparent and robust process in which many perspectives are shared.

We’re proud to work with artists, creatives and industry experts year-round on a range of initiatives to uphold our shared mission of advancing equality and understanding.

If you have any questions, please contact the talent team via email at talent@mardigrasarts.org.au.
