Ways to contribute

You’ll be making a difference for our festival and communities.

Ways to contribute

Become a volunteer

We rely on over 1,800 volunteers to make our world-famous festival and events the success they are year after year. Volunteer opportunities are wide-ranging and varied from event operations to information technology to human resources and logistics.

Calling artists & event producers

We’re excited to work with artists, producers, companies and promoters to create a compelling, bold and adventurous festival program that reflects the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community and encourages participation in LGBTQIA+ arts and cultural events.

Becoming a Mardi Gras Partner

Partnerships with Mardi Gras have extraordinary results in activating digital platforms, and repositioning brands to be relevant in Australia and worldwide. We work with partners to curate brand activations and audience engagement that respond to the annual Mardi Gras theme.

Making a donation

A contribution to Mardi Gras is a contribution to the Community. Each year, through partnerships and donations, we deliver hundreds of thousands of dollars direct to LGBTQI+ community groups and individuals to help them achieve their goals and fund new projects.

Brought to you with pride

Our festival would not be possible without the support of our partners who have an ongoing commitment to the community and what it stands for.
