Aspen is an international student, a Chinese migrant sex worker and identifies as trans non-binary.

For the past two years, they have been working at strip clubs as an Asian migrant sex worker. These experiences have not only shaped their journey at the intersections of gender identity, migration, and the realities of sex work, but also deepened their understanding of the complexities within the industry.

Currently they are pursuing studies in social work, and are committed to creating a more equitable and inclusive society. They have been engaged in advocacy for the sex worker community to de-stigmatise, decriminalise and promote equal work rights and workplace safety.

As an active member of the Asian Migrant Sex Worker Advisory Group (AMSWAG), and an outreach worker for SWOP NSW, Aspen is dedicated to amplifying the voices of marginalised communities and challenging the systemic injustices perpetuating violence and discrimination against sex workers.
