The international smash hit musical & JULIET is thrilled to partner with Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. Queerness is woven throughout this groundbreaking musical, raised with a tone of reassurance, poignancy and celebration.

In celebration of the partnership, a special Sydney Mardi Gras performance of & JULIET will take place on Friday 1 March 2024. In an evening to empower and celebrate the queer community, witness the inspiring and poignant new musical followed by an exclusive post-show Q&A. Hear from the Australian production’s cast and creative team as they discuss the LGBTQIA+ presence throughout the show and how they bring their own identities to the stage. With exclusive activations throughout the Sydney Lyric Theatre, this will be an electric evening you won’t want to miss.

& JULIET creates a truly mind-blowing concert-like atmosphere with “a beautiful undercurrent of queer joy throughout the show” (The Guardian). 

This empowering musical is packed full of smash hits from queer icons of pop music including Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Katy Perry and Kelly Clarkson to name a few, along with a wickedly smart script written by Schitt’s Creek’s very own David West Read. The Australian production features a stellar line-up of talent that includes Casey Donovan, Rob Mills and Lorinda May Merrypor.
